About that quote of Roger I posted last night, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. The whole thing is just so awesomely crazy. I always had the idea that they first met at the audition in the Jazz room at the Imperial College BUT that was not their first met moment. I don’t know, like I always tought Roger replied to the notice, gave Brian a call and then met at the school, but the fact that he did that thru mail makes it so much better AND the fact that Brian replied to that with a long letter it’s EVEN BETTER!

I mean, come on! like what was the point of Brian sending Roger that letter? it must have more than just a page to be considered a long letter, and Brian’s handwriting is not big, so he must have wrote a lot in there. Why for? He didn’t have to, he could just have replied with “cool, go to this place to make the audition and we’ll see” but he didn’t. In which case, Roger is the one who should have done that since he was the one interested on making the audition, but no, Brian did it. He wrote him an unnecessary long letter tell him the stuff he was into. What he liked. He was trying to impress him, and don’t try to tell me otherwise because you know it’s true. But the question is why?

I’m pretty sure Roger was not the only person who replied to the notice, there is a music career in the Impercial College, someone there must have replied. Do you think he did the same with the others? I think not. So then I thought, what was different with Roger that made him do that? And I came to the conclusion that Roger must have sent his Curriculum along with the reply. Curriculums have the pictures of the person. Therefore Brian saw Roger’s picture, read the curriculum and fell in love, so he had to write him back with this totally unnecessary long letter to tell him all about himself. The probably mailed each other for a while before, probably. And then they met at the bar. About this, I think it was just the two of them because Roger never mention Tim, he says  ”I met him in a bar one night ‘cos he wrote me a letter”, he never says “I met him and Tim in a bar one night ‘cos he wrote me a letter” never.

It was a totally extraoficial meeting, there was no need for that to happen. They met because they wanted to, and it was so before Roger’s audition. Which makes me think Brian asked Roger to meet each other in that bar, he must have wrote that in his letter.
